Coach Roch was skating at the young age of 5. When introduced to the goalie position, he knew that the remainder of his hockey career would be between the pipes.
He was trained, mentored and coached by his father. Hard work lead him straight from youth hockey to the junior leagues. This lead to being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in '91. Over the course of his professional career, Roch spend 3 years playing with the Indianapolis Ice, Fort Worth Fire and the Muskegon Fury. Coach Roch is passionately motivated to share his knowledge, experience and stories with younger generations. This lead to the beginning of North Country Goalie Development.
